A beautifully rendered 19th century ex-voto. According to the legend below, Ma. Teresa de J. Sanchez was arriving in Coixtlahuaca around eight in the evening , but the ravine was flooded with people and horses, and in great danger Christ was invoked and no-one suffered nor ???. In the year of 1871.
