#3516 - La Purisima Concepcion

This very fine 19th century folk retablo represents "La Purisima," also known as "La Inmaculada." As seen above, Mary is surrounded by billowing white clouds with a crescent moon and a writhing serpent underfoot. A brilliant red sun face is partially obscured with one eye peering around the side of her cloak. An all around great 19th century retablo of the highest caliber.

Dimensions: 14 inches x 10 inches.

Condition is excellent.
