This charming 19th century retablo painting represents "NS de Carmen" or "Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. NS de Carmen, patroness saint of purgatory, is suspended on puffy white clouds with the Christ child in one hand the scapular shield of the Carmelite Order in her other.

Overall condition is excellent with only minor paint loss.
