This classic 19th century retablo painting on heavy gauge tin depicts "NS de Merced"(Our Lady of Mercy) with the Christ Child and her attributable Mercedarian scapulars. In this image, Our Lady of Merced is supported by billowing white clouds with twelve encircling stars overhead. The retablo measures 20 inches vertical x 14 inches horizontal and is in excellent condition with only minor paint loss.
