| This classic 19th century retablo painting represents "NS de Carmen" or "Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. NS de Carmen, patroness saint of purgatory, is suspended on puffy white clouds with the Christ child in one hand the scapular shield of the Carmelite Order in her other. The retablo is displayed in the original tin lined and reverse glass painted nicho frame, a magnificent work of art in itself.
Dimensions: overall size is 17 inches x 13.5 inches. The retablo measures 14 inches x 10 inches.
