| This charming mid 19th century retablo depicts Saint Anthony, patron saint of lost articles, fertility, starvation, expectant mothers, amputees and shipwrecks. The retablo features Saint Anthony and the Christ child with billowing white clouds, a beautiful turquoise blue / green field. The retablo is attributed to the "red eyelid painter." His unique style is unmistakable. Dimensions: 13 inches x 10 inches. Condition: minor paint loss as seen in photo, otherwise excellent. |
