#2319 - San Jeronimo

This charming 19th century folk retablo represents "San Jeronimo," one of the most revered saints in retablo art. San Jeronimo, patron saint of philosophers and scholars, is almost always depicted as he is here; as a hermit with a lion and his symbols of penance. He is usually accompanied by a crucifix, a skull, a scourge, a book and a lion.

Dimensions are 10" x 7"
