#3305 - San Vicente Ferrer

This rare 19th century retablo represents San Vicente Ferrer, one of the most elusive subjects in retablo art. Saint Vincent, patron saint of masons and brick layers, is almost always portrayed as he is here, as the "angel of judgement" with his black and white Dominican vestments and a large blooming white lily, his symbol of purity.

The retablo is displayed in a handsome fully marked solid silver frame which is a work of art in itself.

Dimensions: Image size is 10" x 7." Frame size is 17.5" x 13"

Condition: excellent with only minor paint loss
