Ex-voto - #5185
This 19th century Mexican ex-voto, painted on heavy gauge tin, is dedicated to the Santo Nino. Apparently, the petitioner in lower left, finding himself in a dangerous situation, sought protection from approaching soldiers, and in honor of this miracle this retablo was dedicated in his honor in the year of 1880.
Dimensions: 14 inches horizontal x 10 inches vertical.
Condition: minor wear and paint loss.
