This rare early 19th century Spanish colonial carved and polychrome painted figural santo represents Maria Magdalena, devoted disciple of Jesus and patroness saint of converts, penitent sinners, prostitutes and sexual temptation. Carved and polychrome painted wood with inset glass eyes.

Dimensions: 9 inches long x 6 inches high.

Condition is excellent with only minor paint loss.
