A large late 19th century Andean stoneware pitcher with beautiful morisco green glaze over a white slip. Old native repairs made from resinous pitch with excellent wear and surface patina throughout.  See 'La Loza de la Tierra' for excellent 18th and 19th century Andean pottery references.
