A fine and rare 19th century miniature Andean double sided relicario - displayed behind glass in the original solid silver case. The obverse face represents Our Lady of Copacabana with the Christ Child and a crescent moon underfoot. The reverse face depicts 'Our Lady of Mt. Carmel' with the scapulars of the Carmelite order and two ''anima solas' (departed ancestral souls) awaiting judgement in the flames of purgatory.
Dimensions: 2.75 inches to top of bail.
